Salary Breakup Calculator
Reconcile the components in your offer instead of inventing a standard employer breakup.
How this calculator works
What it does
This calculator helps reconcile a real offer structure instead of inventing a generic salary breakup. It separates gross cash salary from employer-side components such as PF, gratuity and other benefits so the user can see how headline CTC is constructed.
Calculation
The calculator adds the employer-side components entered by the user to the gross cash salary and compares that total with the stated CTC. The purpose is reconciliation: unexplained differences become visible rather than being silently allocated to assumed allowances.
Example
Two ₹15 lakh CTC offers can differ if one includes higher employer PF, gratuity or insurance while the other allocates more to monthly cash salary. Entering the actual components shows why the same CTC can produce different take-home pay.
Before relying on it
Offer letters use different labels and structures. Do not assume a component called “special allowance” or “benefit” has the same tax or payroll treatment everywhere. Use the actual employer figures and then move to the CTC-to-in-hand tool for take-home estimation.
Useful for
- Reconcile an offer letter against stated CTC
- Separate cash salary from employer benefits
- Compare two offers with the same headline CTC
